History

CORS is a product that has grown organically as a result of the partner's of Gravitas being members of the Management Committee of SPARC (Stockport Progress and Recovery Centre) a local mental health charity that provides day centre services and activities.

Originally, the manager of SPARC asked John Spencer for his advice in connection with a business decision to develop a Community Cafe Project at the centre. For this Gravitas provided a Decision Conference including all staff hosted by Julie Hallows using the OnBalance software:

This allowed staff to clearly identify their priorities for a way forward which illuminated the need for working in an Outcome Focussed manner. This allowed SPARC with the support of Gravitas to participate in a Pilot Project 'Commissioning Outcomes in the North West' for Stockport Council in partnership with Pennine Care Trust.

The development of CORS then started in early 2009 and has been growing ever since. The move towards a cloud based system is the latest development, with continued and planned developments for the future to include a personal budget manager and e-mail reminder services.
